New Delhi: NMDC Limited's Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) VV Satya Sreenivas (IRSME), who is also holding additional charge as CVO of RINL-VSP, has been given a tenure extension on his additional charge. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the government has approved his proposal for extension of additional of the post as CVO of RINL-VSP. His services have been extended for a period up-to February 9, 2021, beyond September 11, 2020, or till the appointment of a regular CVO or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Sreenivas is an Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer of 1994-batch. He is serving as CVO of NMDC Limited since February 28, 2019.

VV Satya Sreenivas (IRSME) profile

Sreenivas is a graduate in mechanical engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Surat with a master's degree from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He has also completed a course on Environmental Management from the University of Bradford and the University of Manchester on prestigious British Chevening Scholarship. Prior to joining NMDC Limited, Sreenivas was serving as CVO of Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) & Visakhapatanam Port Trust. In addition to varied experience in Railway sector, he had exposure to port logistics, dredging and project activities of the oil and gas sector by virtue of earlier deputations.
