POWERGRID and PFC get D&B PSU Award

New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), one of the world's largest transmission utilities under Ministry of Power, has again conferred with D&B PSU Award for Power Transmission. PFC has been awarded in Best PSU in 'Financial Services' category.

There are strong rumours of the PowerGrid being given the Maharatna status by the end of the year 2019. Arvind Sawant, Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise, and SC Garg, Secretary (Power) presented the Award Seema Gupta, Director (Operations), POWERGRID Corporation at a function held in New Delhi on 22th August 2019.

Sawant gave away the D&B Award for Best PSU in 'Financial Services' category to Rajeev Sharma, PFC CMD, PK Singh, Director (Commercial) and RS Dhillon, Director (Projects).
