PNGRB​ Recruitment 2020: Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), statutory body under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) has invited nominations & applications for consideration of the search committee for selection to one post of Member (Legal). Eligible candidates can apply for the job before September 20. The post will fall vacant on March 20, 2021.

The term of office, the salaries and allowances payable to and the other terms and conditions of service of member, Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board is governed by the PNGRB Act, 2006 and the rules notified thereunder. The act and the rules notified thereunder are also available on the website at http://www.petroleum.nic.in.

Maximum age limit: 62 years

The applications in the prescribed proforma may be forwarded along with the following documents:-

  1. Special achievements/ Field of specialisation.
  2. Vigilance status (VS/IC/PC).
  3. A statement showing major and minor penalties imposed during the last ten years.
  4. CR dossiers containing CRs for the last ten years. In case of photocopies of CR dossiers, every page should be duly attested by an officer, not below the rank of Under Secretary of the government.

Note: a) Application received after the closing date or without the APAR/CRs dossier (or attested photocopies of ACRs) or otherwise found incomplete or not in the prescribed proforma are liable to be rejected. Officers who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently. Advance copies of application received after the last date or otherwise found incomplete are liable to be rejected.

b) While forwarding the applications, it may be verified & a certificate may be furnished to the effect that the particulars furnished by the officer are correct. It may also be confirmed that in the event of selection for appointment, the officer concerned will be relieved of his duties.

c) The search committee reserves the right to consider persons other than those nominated or who have applied.
