ONGC Recruitment 2020: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Limited intends to engage Medical Officers on a contract basis at its Jorhat work center on a consolidated honorarium. Candidates are invited to appear for the interview through an online method for engagement on a contract basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the job before November 15.

Name of posts: Contract Medical Officer – Field Duty (FDMO), Contract Medical Officer (Occupational Health-OH) and Contract Medical Officer (Homeopathy)

Pay Scale: Rs 55,000 – Rs 72,000/- per month 

Qualifications

Candidates applying for the above jobs should be MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) with Valid registration at State Medical Council or Medical Council of India or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery) with valid registration with the concerned statutory authority

Age limit: There is no maximum age limit for eligibility

Experience: Experience is desirable for all posts

Finalization of merit list

1. Candidates who qualify in the interview shall be empanelled in the merit list.
ii. Offer of appointment shall be issued to the candidates based on their relative rank in the merit list prepared on the sum total of marks scored by the candidate in qualification and interview.
iii. In case of a tie in the total marks scored between two or more candidates, then the candidate who scores more marks in the interview shall be considered senior. In case there too the marks are equal, then the candidate who is older in age shall be considered senior for the issue of offer of appointment.
iv. For the post of Contract Medical Officer-Occupational Health, preference shall be given to the candidate who has training in occupational health or public health or occupational medicine.

Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their passing the company's Medical Examination as per standards laid down under ONGC Medical Examination of Employees Rules, 1996.
