NHSRCL provides free of cost skill development training to the youth

New Delhi: To improve the skill set and to create opportunities for income generation for the families of the project affected people of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor project, NHSRCL is organising various types of skill development training programmes under 'Income Restoration Programme.'

The first batch of 14 candidates from the villages of Thane district, completed their classroom training in Hotel Management and will now pursue their six months long 'On the job Training' in a reputed hotel in Andheri, Mumbai. During the classroom training, the participants have acquired the skills in: food production, food and beverage service, housekeeping, communication and front office.

The training programme was conducted by the Council of Education & Development Programmes Pvt Ltd, a government recognised institute in Thane, Maharashtra. 

While digitally interacting with the participants, the NHSRCL's Managing Director Achal Khare said "India is a young country and our youth must work towards acquiring skills so that they can become Atmanirbhar and also contribute in the nation-building. NHSRCL is committed to provide skill development pieces of training in various disciplines and help young minds to improve their employment opportunities."

The skill development training has been provided to more than 239 participants in various skills like computer hardware and networking, computer accounting, welding & fabrication, mobile repairing, electrical works, office automation etc, so far.

Presently, NHSRCL is facilitating free of cost training required for construction-related activities like Bar bending, Construction electrical works, Plumbing, Plastering etc in Gujarat and Maharashtra states.
