AAI’s Indian Aviation Academy signs an MoU with Amethi’s IGRUA

New Delhi: To impart quality education to budding pilots and prepare them for regulatory examination, Indian Aviation Academy (IAA), New Delhi – a joint training academy of Airports Authority of India (AAI), Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udaan Academy, Fursatganj, Amethi (U.P.) – a renowned flying school. 

MoCA's Joint Secretary Amber Dubey was the chief guest at the MoU signing ceremony. The MoU has been signed by AAI's Executive Director Hareendranathan EP IAA and IGRUA's Director Krishnendu Gupta in presence of AAI's General Manager (Training) Manoj Chansoria and other senior officials of both the institutions.

 The Indian civil aviation sector contributes to the Indian economy by facilitating the growth of air travel, business, trade and tourism. With the demand for skilled human resources increasing in Civil Aviation, the sector needs to ensure adequate availability of quality human resources across all domains of aviation. The qualified and competent pilots are the torchbearers of safe and efficient aviation who need quality education and training interventions.

The MoU will facilitate offering innovative, quality courses jointly by both institutions. It will also contribute in fostering a robust, sustained aviation ecosystem.
